Welcome to Scenly AI Video Generator, a place to turn prompts into moving pictures. These Terms of Use are the agreement between you and Scenly AI Video Generator ("Scenly", "we", "us") for your use of the app. Please read them before you start directing. Effective date: 2026-10-23.

Agreeing by creating

By downloading, opening or using the app, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These Terms sit alongside Apple's own terms for apps obtained through the App Store.

Your licence to use Scenly

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own purposes and in line with these Terms and the Apple App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the app's source code, or interfere with our backend or its security, except where the law expressly allows it.

Playing fair

Please create responsibly. You agree not to use the app to make or share content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, harasses or harms others, depicts real people in a deceptive or non-consensual way, or exploits minors. Do not submit material you do not have the right to use, and do not try to overload, misuse or automate access to the service. We may suspend or restrict access if the app is misused.

Subscriptions, billing and cancelling

Paid features and subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store using Apple In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account will be charged for renewal according to the terms shown at purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Billing, renewals, cancellations and refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies, not by us.

Who owns what

The app, its design, software, branding and everything we provide remain the property of Scenly AI Video Generator and its licensors. As between you and us, you keep ownership of the prompts and content you submit and the videos you generate, to the extent the law allows. You grant us a limited permission to process your content as needed to run the generation, deliver results and operate the service. You are responsible for making sure your content and its use respect the rights of others. Because AI output can resemble other works, we cannot guarantee that generated videos are unique or free of third-party rights.

No guarantees on the cut

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". AI generation is creative and unpredictable: results may be inaccurate, unexpected or not what you imagined. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement, and we do not promise the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scenly AI Video Generator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app or any generated content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

When the script changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
